Helping you find freedom from suffering and purpose in life.

Bethany Genrich, LCSW will work with you using evidence-based interventions to reduce the struggle with uncomfortable thoughts, feelings, and memories, clarify life-purpose, and engage in patterns of meaningful action.  Mindfulness-based psychotherapy helps you get "unstuck" from worries, forgive yourself for past regrets, increase your ability to connect meaningfully with others, and aids in your capacity to respond positively to negative events in your life.

Helping your teen reduce impact of negative thoughts/feelings and maintain positive behavior.

Bethany Genrich, LCSW helps adolescents become aware of automatic thoughts and feelings and learn to observe them, without attaching or reacting to them.  When adolescents practice this awareness, they will also learn to respond more effectively to triggers associated with their uncomfortable symptoms, thoughts, and/or feelings.  Furthermore, the application of mindfulness practices has been shown through research to activate the prefrontal cortex of the brain, improving emotional regulation and self-control.
