Courtney Ferguson, LPC-MHSP
Courtney Ferguson is a Licensed Professional Counselor with Mental Health Service Provider designation. She is certified by the Tennessee Board of Professional Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists. Courtney graduated from Carson-Newman University with a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has experience working with clients across the lifespan. In practice, Courtney has a client-centered approach and utilizes a collaboration of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including: play therapy, trauma-focused techniques, mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has a passion for working with children and families in the treatment of childhood issues, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral struggles, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, trauma, and family issues. Courtney's work with clients enables them to cope with stress, pain and unexpected occurrences in a more positive light. Courtney has been in practice since 2016 and has worked in a various settings including schools, outpatient clinics, and residential treatment centers. She is currently accepting new clients for child, adolescent, adult psychotherapy, parent training, and family therapy.
